Fall 2007

We haven't been very good at posting so far, but after our summer activities things slowed down a bit. I have been working out of town a lot, and Steve has been carefully avoiding his fall blues. While I will spare you pictures of my work in Oklahoma, I have included photos from my work trip to Oregon where I was able to stay with Penny. Her life there is beautiful, and it was great to catch up with her and Paul. While I was in Oregon Steve was floating down the Westwater section of the Colorado River. Our biggest accomplishments this fall have been painting the house and rebuilding the fence that faces the street. Apparently Sampson has been taking himself on afternoon walks because the gate was so decrepit. Sampson is slowing down a bit after our big hike in July, but still loves a good bone! Hope everyone is doing well!

Take Care,
Kat and Steve

Penny and Joe (the horse) lead me on a mellow ride behind her house. Check out the barn Paul built in the background - oh yeah, and the amazing view of the Wallowa Mountains...

Charlie is also slowing down, but little Macie (the black lab) is always ready to hang out.

Steve had a wonderful time hanging out with the guys on the river and playing on the water.

Before and after pictures of the house.

Sampson's largest bone EVER!!!

Colorado Trail-Silverton to Creede 07/07

Raymond & Jenna's Wedding (June 2007)

Mike and Alicja's Wedding (April 2007)

Steve and Katherine Kahn

Hey Everyone!
Since life has spread so many of our loved ones across the world, we thought we should put together a website so everyone can communicate easier. We have had a great summer so far starting with Mike and Alicja's wedding in April, Raymond and Jenna's wedding in June, and lots of fun trips around Colorado in between. We just finished our 2 week trip on the Colorado Trail from Silverton to Creede during the first couple of weeks in July. Now we are out of vacation and only have our memories and pictures left to ponder. We hope life is treating you well!
Take Care,
Kat & Steve
